This is a gallery of carved pumpkins made by real people. Every submission is reviewed by a moderator before it goes live. Here’s what we’re looking for, and what gets rejected.

What’s welcome

  • Actual pumpkins. Carved, painted, or decorated pumpkins and other gourds. Photos or short videos of your work.
  • Your own work. Upload pumpkins you (or your crew) made and photographed. Carving someone else’s design is fine and common; crediting the pattern maker in your description is a nice touch.
  • All skill levels. A kid’s first triangle-eyed jack o’lantern belongs here just as much as a museum-grade sculpt.

What gets rejected

  • Photos that aren’t pumpkins (yes, we check).
  • Content you didn’t create or don’t have rights to share.
  • Gore beyond Halloween-spooky, sexually explicit content, or hateful imagery. Scary is great; the site stays family-browsable.
  • Watermarks from other sites, ads, QR codes, or promotional images.
  • Duplicate submissions of the same carving.
  • Undeclared AI images. AI-generated designs are allowed only when declared at upload, and they’re labeled and kept out of rankings and the contest; see the AI image policy.

Comments & ratings

Be kind. Critique the carving, not the carver. Moderators may hide comments that are hostile, spammy, or off-topic. Rate honestly, and don’t organize vote brigades.

Enforcement

If your submission is rejected, you’ll see the reason on your my carvings page and can fix and resubmit. Repeated or serious violations can lead to a ban. If you see something that breaks these rules, use the report button or email [email protected].
