Two Maple Leaves Pumpkin Stencil
Two maple leaves are shown on the same stencil sheet, stacked vertically: the upper leaf faces right with its stem pointing up, the lower leaf faces left with its stem trailing down. Both are cut as single solid silhouettes with the pointed maple-lobe edges forming the outline. Lit from inside, the two glowing leaf shapes overlap slightly at center, giving the pumpkin a layered, scattered-leaves feel. Carve the upper leaf first and fully remove it before starting the lower leaf so the two openings don't inadvertently merge along their closest edges.
Two Unequal Oak Leaves
Two oak leaves of different sizes drift diagonally across the pumpkin, their lobed edges captured in crisp detail. Both leaves are cut fully through the wall, so each one glows like a lantern-lit leaf caught mid-fall. This medium design's challenge is the wavy lobed outline, so use a fine-tooth saw and pivot at every lobe notch, removing each leaf in two or three pieces instead of forcing out one large chunk.
Veined Seven-Leaflet Cannabis
A detailed seven-leaflet cannabis leaf spreads across the pumpkin, each serrated leaflet shaved into the skin with its center vein and feathered side veins left as raised lines. Nothing is pierced, so the leaf reads as pale botanical relief against the dark rind day or night. This hard etch rewards patience; score every vein with a v-gouge first, then shave the leaflet panels down to a matching depth around them.
