   Add two black button eyes just above the muzzle, then a rounded black nose at the top center of the cream oval. Once everything is dry, dab a tiny white dot on each eye to give that shiny, lively look. A thin black paint pen makes the smile much easier to control.

   Seal and display

   Let all paint cure for several hours, then brush on a clear acrylic sealer to protect against porch weather. Set the puppy on a step where the ears catch the light and read clearly from the walkway. Since nothing is cut, it will last far longer than a carved pumpkin. Snap your photo in soft daylight to show off the shiny eyes.
