What kind of paper works best?▾
Standard 20 lb letter or A4 printer paper is fine. Heavier paper is harder to bend around the pumpkin curve. If your printer supports it, set the quality to 'best' so the lines are crisp.
How long will the carved pumpkin last?▾
Usually 5–10 days. Coat all cut surfaces with petroleum jelly and store the pumpkin somewhere cool overnight. Avoid direct sun. Battery tea lights produce no heat and double the lifespan.

What if my printer doesn't print the whole stencil?▾

How to carve this stencil
- Tape the stencil to a firm, thick-walled pumpkin and transfer all outlines with a pin tool.
- Carve the small "I" first to establish the top-row spacing.
- Move to the large heart, cutting smoothly around the two curved lobes and the pointed bottom tip.
- Carve the "M" next, using short strokes on the two interior V-angles.
- For the "N", make a plunge cut at each end of the diagonal wedge before sawing along the diagonal itself, preventing the narrow wedge from snapping mid-cut.
- Remove all pieces carefully and light from inside to reveal the full "I Heart MN" glow.
