Evil Pumpkin Stencils

Evil pumpkin stencils show slanted eyes, sinister grins, sharp teeth, and arched brows for a pumpkin that looks up to no good. The expression is the point, so the cuts are precise but few.

How to carve an evil pumpkin stencil

Cut the eyes as narrow slanted slits, higher at the outer corners. The grin is a wide curve with pointed teeth left uncut along both lips; cut each tooth tip with a knife. The brows are thin slits angled sharply down toward the nose, cut last so you can judge the expression.

Evil pumpkins work best in shadow, lit from inside with a coloured LED and nothing else nearby. Put one at the far end of the porch for a slow reveal.

Questions

Evil stencil questions

How do I get an evil expression on a pumpkin?+

Narrow slanted eyes, brows angled down to the nose, and a wide grin with pointed teeth. Keep the eyes small; most of the face should stay dark so the grin dominates.

What is the difference between evil and angry stencils?+

Angry faces frown with gritted teeth. Evil faces grin. The brows slant the same way, but the mouth changes everything.

How long do evil pumpkin stencils take to carve?+

Check the individual stencil's carving guide for its time estimate. Preparation, pumpkin size, wall thickness and your experience affect the total; difficulty alone does not determine carving time.

Which evil pumpkin stencils are the easiest?+

8 of the 39 are easy, 12 of the 39 are intermediate, 13 of the 39 are hard, 6 of the 39 are expert. Compare the difficulty labels and carving guides to choose a design.

Pick an evil design, print it, and light up the porch.
