   Light it and photograph at dusk

   Drop in one or two bright LED lights, never a candle, and aim them toward the iris cutout. Test in the dark and add more light if the pupil looks dull. Shoot the photo at dusk like the concept image so the warm glow pops against a deep blue sky. Mist the cut edges with water if you want them fresh for the shot.
