Monster Cyclops Pumpkin with Diamond Cheek Cuts

Hollow and map the eye plus-bar system

Hollow to a 22mm wall. Mark the large round eye circle on the front face. Draw the horizontal and vertical bars forming the connected plus inside it: both bars at least 12mm wide, crossing exactly at the center of the circle. Confirm all four bar ends reach the rim of the circle before cutting anything.

Cut the four eye quadrants

Cut each of the four quadrant windows separately inside the eye circle. Begin with a piercing cut near the center of one quadrant and saw outward toward the rim, stopping before cutting the bars. Remove each quadrant piece. The four bars remain as a complete plus shape inside the circular rim.

Cut the curved eyebrow holes

Three curved brow holes above the eye give it a heavily furrowed expression. Cut each as a narrow consistent arc, keeping all three parallel in curvature. Work through all three brow positions while the rind surrounding the eye is still fully solid.

Add the two nostril holes

Two nostrils below the eye give the face its monster quality. Mark both positions symmetrically and cut or drill them as small oval or round openings. Keep them relatively small to balance the large eye above.

Carve the zigzag eight-tooth grin

Score all eight tooth roots before cutting any gaps, alternating upper and lower roots through the full grin. Cut gaps from one end of the grin to the other, confirming each root before removing the adjacent gap piece. A wide zigzag grin with clean alternating roots reads as genuinely monstrous.

Cut eighteen diamond cheek holes and display

Distribute nine diamonds per cheek in two arcs. Cut each diamond with converging tip cuts at all four points. Place tea lights around the base of the displayed pumpkin so the light both enters through the main openings and reflects off the scattered diamond glints for a full surround-glow effect.
