Brush away shavings often to see your progress.

   Smooth and even out the tone

   Go back over each scooped pad and remove any ridges so the exposed flesh looks uniform. Even scraping is what makes the pale paw pop against the dark skin. If one pad looks deeper or darker, feather the edges until they match. Wipe the whole face clean when you are done.
