   Paint the black necklace, eye line, and crest outline with a fine brush, then fill the raised crest with layered blue. Add the sharp black beak and a small white highlight in the eye to bring it to life. Touch in the black legs gripping the branch. Step back often to check the markings stay balanced left to right.

   Seal and stage

   Once everything is bone dry, brush on a clear matte sealer to protect the acrylic from smudges and moisture.
