Drooping Eyes Screaming Face Pumpkin Glowing in Darkness

How do I get the drooping eye shape right without a template?

Draw a standard oval, then extend the lower half of the oval downward by about a third of the oval's original height. The resulting shape looks like a teardrop rotated to lay on its side. When both eyes are oriented this way and placed symmetrically, the drooping expression reads clearly even without a printed template.

Should the mouth be perfectly centered below the eyes?

A very slight offset, shifting the mouth a centimetre to one side, adds a feeling of dislocation that enhances the unsettling quality. A perfectly centered mouth can read as more neutral or even comedic. The goal is an expression that feels wrong in a subtle, hard-to-place way.

Can I add a pupil hole inside each drooping eye to increase the creepiness?
