   Drop in a battery LED puck or a string of warm LEDs, never a candle, since the thinned flesh can scorch. Set it on the front steps after dark and check that the chest and face pull the eye first. Adjust any spot that looks flat by shaving a little more flesh. Snap the photo with only the porch light and the pumpkin's own glow for the best mascot look.
