   Drop in a battery LED puck or string, not a candle, so the thin relief does not scorch or dry out too fast. Set it on a step at dusk and check that each heart clearly passes over then under its partner. Rub a little petroleum jelly on cut edges to slow drying and keep the glow crisp.
