Download the Raising Hands Emoji pumpkin stencil as a free printable PDF, then tape the pattern to your pumpkin and trace the lines. Two open hands with spread fingers are raised side by side on this emoji pumpkin stencil, each palm facing forward with small rectangular cuff shapes below the wrists. Four small triangular sparkle shapes are arranged above the hands in a row. All elements are pierced through so the lit jack-o-lantern shows a bright raising-hands celebration scene. Cut the four small triangles at the top first while the wall is thickest, then remove the cuff rectangles, and finish by cutting around the finger contours of each hand last. It works as a carving template for a Halloween jack-o'-lantern or a fall porch display. It is rated Advanced. Actual time varies with preparation, pumpkin size and experience. Fine details and narrow supports need careful planning. Follow the cutting and shading key in this designβs PDF.

Frequently asked questions
Can I resize this stencil?βΎ
Yes. The PDF is vector so it scales cleanly. Print the pattern at 100% for a 7 to 10 inch pumpkin, 130% for 11 to 13 inch, or 150% for a giant. Use your printer's "Fit to page" or "Custom scale" setting.
What kind of paper works best?βΎ
Standard 20 lb letter or A4 printer paper is fine. Heavier paper is harder to bend around the pumpkin curve. If your printer supports it, set the quality to 'best' so the lines are crisp.
How long will the carved pumpkin last?βΎ
Usually 5 to 10 days. Coat all cut surfaces with petroleum jelly and store the pumpkin somewhere cool overnight. Avoid direct sun. Battery LED pumpkin lights produce no heat and help it last longer.
Can I sell pumpkins carved with this stencil?βΎ
Yes, the carved pumpkin you make is yours. The license covers personal and small-scale commercial carving (selling carved pumpkins, photographing them, posting on social). You may not resell the PDF file itself.
What if my printer doesn't print the whole stencil?βΎ
Set 'Page scaling' to 'Fit' in the print dialog and uncheck 'Auto-rotate'. If it still cuts off, the design includes 0.25" of safe-area margin so a small crop won't ruin it.
How to carve this stencil
- Transfer all shapes carefully, noting the tight spacing between adjacent fingers on both hands.
- Cut the four small triangular sparkle shapes at the top of the composition first.
- Remove the two rectangular cuff shapes below each wrist.
- Begin the hand cutouts by cutting along the outer thumb edge on each hand.
- Work between each finger pair with a narrow blade, keeping cuts perpendicular to avoid tearing the thin orange bridges.
- Remove the large palm interior last; the open palms become fully freestanding once the background around each hand is clear.

AdvancedLove-Struck Emoji Pumpkin Stencil
The heart-eyes emoji comes to life with two big heart-shaped eyes, arched brows, and a wide toothy smile, all surrounded by seventeen small hearts and diamond accents scattered across the shell. Every heart, brow, tooth gap, and diamond is pierced through, so the whole pumpkin twinkles. Carve the large central face first while the shell is strongest, then work outward through the border hearts from biggest to smallest.
AdvancedThe Big Weeper Pumpkin Stencil
Two droopy eyes with dark bottom-rooted pupils weep streams of teardrop cutouts down the cheeks, all above a deep frown split into glowing segments. Every tear, eye, brow, and frown gap is pierced through, so the whole face drips with light in the most dramatic pout of the season. Carve the small teardrops with a fine saw and finish the frown segments last, keeping the rind bridges between them thick.
AdvancedBig Thumbs Up Pumpkin Stencil
A big thumbs-up hand surrounded by six radiating burst lines, like a glowing seal of approval for every trick-or-treater. The hand itself is sculpted in relief with shaved shading across the knuckles and thumb, while the outline gap and ray lines are carved deeper so light halos the whole gesture. Rough in the hand shape shallow at first, then deepen the shadows between the fingers gradually to keep the knuckles reading clearly.
AdvancedTears of Joy Pumpkin Stencil
This tilted laughing face leans hard to one side, with two squinted arrow eyes, a huge open grin, and a teardrop of joy flying off each corner. All the features cut fully through, and the diagonal tilt is what makes it read as the crying-laughing emoji everyone knows. It rates hard because the squint lines and tear droplets are small, so use a fine saw and drill-start each tiny opening before cutting.
AdvancedSee-No-Evil Monkey Pumpkin Stencil
The see-no-evil monkey emoji is rendered as a wide face with two large hands pressed over the eyes and two banana-shaped ears flaring out, with a broad smile, round nose dots, and small cheek details visible below the hands in this hard pumpkin stencil. The overlapping hand fingers create a dense grid of narrow cut channels across the upper half of the design. Work the individual finger slots from the center outward so each completed cut is braced by uncut pumpkin on at least one side.
AdvancedBloodshot Eyes Emoji Pumpkin Stencil
A double-eyeball emoji pumpkin stencil showing two large oval eye shapes side by side, each filled with a crescent-shaped pupil and surrounded by radiating cracked vein lines that branch outward from the iris to the oval edges. When lit, the big ovals glow brightly while the solid crescent pupils and vein bridges stay dark, creating an unsettling bloodshot stare. Cut the largest oval backgrounds of each eye before the thin branching veins, since removing the big sections first gives your blade room to maneuver around the fragile vein tips.
