   Light it and take your photo

   Drop in an LED puck or string, never a candle, since the peeled wall is thin and can scorch. Set the light low and slightly forward so it rakes across the beard and shirt folds. Photograph at dusk against a simple background so the glowing face stands out. If a peeled area looks too dark, shave it a hair thinner and check again.
