How to carve a funny pumpkin stencil

Comedy faces depend on expression, so cut the mouth exactly as drawn; a slightly different curve changes a laugh into a frown. Leave the tongue or any protruding feature attached at the base. For a sick pumpkin, cut the mouth low and pile the scooped seeds below it.

Funny pumpkins belong at the front door where people stop and laugh. A pair of pumpkins reacting to each other, one shocked and one giggling, works even better than one.
