Chuckles the Clown pumpkin stencil
Easy

Chuckles the Clown Pumpkin Stencil

This goofy clown face stacks triangle eyes over a big round nose, two glowing cheek circles, and a wide banana grin with two square buck teeth hanging down. All the openings are simple cut-through shapes with plenty of space between them, which makes it a friendly first carve. Cut the smallest pieces first, the teeth notches, before removing the big mouth so the wall stays sturdy.

Zigzag Scowler pumpkin stencil
Easy

Zigzag Scowler Pumpkin Stencil

A classic angry jack-o'-lantern face with two sharp slanted eyes, a split two-part nose, and a jagged zigzag frown of pointed teeth. All five openings are cut straight through the wall, leaving the rest of the pumpkin untouched for maximum contrast. It is an easy pattern with only a handful of pieces, so take your time on the zigzag mouth and cut each tooth point cleanly before pushing the waste piece out.

Buck Teeth Grin pumpkin stencil
Easy

Buck Teeth Grin Pumpkin Stencil

This cheerful jack-o'-lantern face pairs two big round eyes with a wide open grin interrupted by a pair of goofy buck teeth. The eyes and mouth are cut all the way through, while the two square teeth are left attached to the top lip. Since it is an easy carve, just take care around those teeth: cut the mouth opening around them and leave each tooth anchored so it does not snap off.

Grinning Gus pumpkin stencil
Easy

Grinning Gus Pumpkin Stencil

A friendly little porch face with two big round eyes, each notched by a small skin tab, above a wide banner smile broken up by chunky square teeth. All openings are pierced clean through, so the whole expression lights up at night. It is an easy pattern for beginners; remove the small tooth gaps first while the wall around them is still strong, then free the large mouth section.

The Sideways Glance pumpkin stencil
Easy

The Sideways Glance Pumpkin Stencil

This classic jack-o'-lantern face pairs two round side-glancing eyes with a triangle nose and a wide grin showing two blocky teeth. Every feature is cut all the way through, so candlelight pours out of the openings while the rest of the rind stays untouched. The shapes are big and forgiving, making this a perfect first carve; make small relief cuts at the corners of the smile so your blade can turn cleanly.

Bucktooth Buddy pumpkin stencil
Easy

Bucktooth Buddy Pumpkin Stencil

A cheerful jack-o'-lantern face built from two tall arched crescent eyes and a huge open grin anchored by a pair of oversized buck teeth. Every shape is cut all the way through, so the eyes and smile glow brightly while the goofy overbite stays as solid pumpkin. This is an easy first carve; saw slowly around each tooth from the mouth opening inward so the narrow tooth tabs never snap.

Classic Twin-Fang Grin pumpkin stencil
Easy

Classic Twin-Fang Grin

A classic jack-o'-lantern face with sharply slanted, angled eyes and a wide sinister grin punctuated by two long fangs hanging from the upper lip. The eyes, mouth, and fang gaps are all cut clean through so candlelight pours out of every opening. The fangs stay attached as pointed flaps of pumpkin wall, so an easy tip is to cut the mouth first and shape each fang last with slow, shallow strokes.

Goofy Three-Tooth Grin pumpkin stencil
Easy

Goofy Three-Tooth Grin

A lovable goofy face with two big round eyes, a small triangle nose, and a wide smile broken up by three blocky teeth. Every shape is a full cut-through opening, so the eyes, nose, and mouth glow while the rest of the pumpkin stays untouched. It is a great first stencil; start with the smallest tooth cuts before opening the large mouth so the wall stays sturdy.

Free PDF
Snowball Smile pumpkin stencil
Easy

Snowball Smile Pumpkin Stencil

A cheerful jack-o'-lantern face with big rounded eyes, a small triangle nose, and a wide crescent smile with a single square tooth. Every feature is fully cut through, so the whole face glows once a candle goes in. It looks especially striking on a white pumpkin, where the warm light pops against the pale skin. An easy first carve; just leave the little bridge above the tooth intact so the grin holds its shape.

Classic Gappy Grin pumpkin stencil
Easy

Classic Gappy Grin

A cheerful lopsided jack-o'-lantern face with one oversized round eye, one small eye, and a huge sweeping grin showing two chunky buck teeth. The eyes, mouth, and gaps between the teeth are cut clear through so candlelight pours out, while the rest of the shell stays untouched. An easy first project: carve the big grin in short strokes and save the teeth for last so they stay firmly attached.

Classic Snaggletooth Grin pumpkin stencil
Easy

Classic Snaggletooth Grin

This is the timeless jack-o'-lantern face: two bold triangle eyes, round cheek dots, a circle nose, and a wide grin broken up by chunky snaggleteeth. Every shape is cut all the way through, so the whole face glows brightly at night. Because the openings are large and simple, it is a perfect first carve; just leave the tooth tabs attached to the rim of the mouth as you saw around them.

Puking Jack-o-Lantern pumpkin stencil
Easy

Puking Jack-o-Lantern Pumpkin Stencil

This Halloween pumpkin stencil shows a scowling jack-o-lantern face above a wide open mouth with a round bowl shape inside, from which a blob of chunky dripping gunk spills downward in an irregular mass. Narrow slash-shaped eyes and angular brow lines above the mouth convey disgust, while the dripping mass below is a single large pierced area with ragged edges. Cut the small eye and brow slashes first, then tackle the wide drip outline last, since it spans most of the lower pumpkin and removing it early would destabilize the wall for the detail work above.

One Tooth Jack-o-Lantern pumpkin stencil
Easy

One Tooth Jack-o-Lantern Pumpkin Stencil

This jack-o-lantern face pumpkin stencil keeps it deliberately minimal: two teardrop eye shapes each with a crescent notch cut from the bottom to suggest a raised brow, a small triangular nose, and a wide grinning mouth with one single center tooth left intact at the top lip. All four openings are pierced so they glow together, and the lone tooth bridging the smile is the only delicate detail in the whole design. Cut the single tooth gap on either side of that center tooth in two careful inward strokes, meeting cleanly at the base so it does not detach.

Heart Eyes Jack-o-Lantern pumpkin stencil
Easy

Heart Eyes Jack-o-Lantern Pumpkin Stencil

A classic jack-o-lantern face gets a romantic twist: two heart-shaped cutouts replace the usual triangle eyes, each framed by three curling eyelash strokes, above a wide crescent grin with three rectangular tooth gaps. The design is beginner-level with large, easy-to-cut openings and gentle curves throughout. Cut each heart eye from the inner point downward and around the lobes rather than starting at the curved top, which helps you keep the heart shape symmetrical on the pumpkin's curved surface.

Jack-o-Lantern Face pumpkin stencil
Easy

Jack-o-Lantern Face Pumpkin Stencil

This cheerful pumpkin stencil depicts a pumpkin-within-a-pumpkin: a wide jack-o-lantern face with a curling stem at top, four vertical rib lines crossing the body, and a grinning mouth with curling lip ends and individual tooth segments, all cut as negative space on the outer pumpkin. The vertical rib lines are the thinnest elements, each only a slim channel of open space; carve them with a single guided stroke from stem to mouth to avoid a wavy line. A warm candle light inside makes the rib lines read as glowing stripes across the face.

Witch Hat Jack-o-Lantern pumpkin stencil
Easy

Witch Hat Jack-o-Lantern Pumpkin Stencil

A grinning jack-o-lantern face wearing a small pointed witch hat sits at the center of this easy funny pumpkin stencil. The face features two large crescent-shaped eyes with small round highlight dots inside each, a triangular nose, a wide upward-curving mouth with a center tooth drip, and wispy curl accents at the cheek corners. The hat brim and crown are solid while the eye crescents, nose, and mouth are cut through. Carve the two small round eye-highlight dots before removing the larger crescent eye shapes so those tiny circles stay intact and the eye reads with dimension when lit.

Specs Appeal pumpkin stencil
Easy

Specs Appeal Pumpkin Stencil

A classic jack-o-lantern face wearing oversized rectangular glasses makes up this beginner pumpkin stencil. The eyebrow is a wide arched strip across the top, the glasses frame is a connected pair of rectangular loops each containing a circular lens opening, a triangular nose sits below, and a broad grinning mouth with one dripping fang dominates the lower half. The thick glasses frame and face outlines remain solid while the lens circles, nose triangle, and mouth are cut through. Cut the two circular lens openings inside the glasses before the wide mouth, so the frame bridge between the lenses stays firm.

Friendly Jack-o-Lantern pumpkin stencil
Easy

Friendly Jack-o-Lantern Pumpkin Stencil

Two rounded horseshoe-arch eyes, each with a small bump notched from the bottom to suggest eyebrows, and a broad curved mouth split by two square bottom teeth define this easy pumpkin stencil. The asymmetry between the left eye (fuller arch) and the right eye (slightly smaller, offset notch) gives the face a winking or quizzical personality. All cut-outs are generous and smooth, making this a good pumpkin stencil for carvers who want a friendly face without tiny fiddly pieces. Leave the two small inner-eye notches for last so the arch stays rigid while you cut the mouth.

Smiley Jack-o-Lantern pumpkin stencil
Easy

Smiley Jack-o-Lantern Pumpkin Stencil

Two large rounded arch eyes, each with a small notch cut from the bottom edge, sit above a wide U-shaped grin lined with four evenly spaced rectangular teeth in this easy pumpkin stencil. The result is a cheerful, friendly face rather than a sinister one, and when lit the broad open eyes and blocky smile radiate warmth across the porch. The small notches at the base of each eye are the only detail that can break off if carved too aggressively, so score those notch curves gently with the tip of your blade before removing the eye sections.

Confused Jack-o-Lantern pumpkin stencil
Easy

Confused Jack-o-Lantern Pumpkin Stencil

A crooked, puzzled face expression built from two unequal eyes and a wide zigzag mouth forms this easy pumpkin stencil. The left eye is a narrow horizontal slit while the right eye is a large irregular quadrilateral, and both sit below a single small tapered eyebrow. The mouth is a long jagged zigzag cut with peaks and valleys of different heights, giving the whole face a bewildered, off-kilter look. When lit, the mismatched eyes and frantic zigzag line are immediately readable across the yard. Cut the zigzag mouth with short, angled plunge cuts at each peak rather than one long sweeping stroke to keep each point crisp.

Classic Jack-o-Lantern Face pumpkin stencil
Easy

Classic Jack-o-Lantern Face Pumpkin Stencil

A tall, narrow jack-o-lantern face with a small witch-hat-style stem forms this easy pumpkin stencil, featuring two mismatched triangular eyes of slightly different sizes, a small triangle nose, and a wide mouth with uneven rectangular teeth below. The entire face outline tapers toward the bottom and the drooping curved tendrils at each lower corner add a melted look. All five facial openings cut cleanly through, letting candlelight pour out in a simple, instantly recognizable jack-o-lantern pattern. Carve the eyes first so you have reference points for spacing the mouth cuts.

The Furious Glare pumpkin stencil
Easy

The Furious Glare Pumpkin Stencil

Two swept, blade-like eye shapes angle sharply inward with small notch cutouts at their inner corners, giving the jack-o-lantern an intense furious glare. Below them, a wide zigzag mouth with four sharp points runs the full width of the face. All five pieces are large and open, making this a fast, beginner-friendly carve where the lit pumpkin reads as pure aggression. Cut the two eye shapes before the mouth so you can judge the spacing while the lower pumpkin wall is still fully solid.

Dreamy Dozer pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

Dreamy Dozer Pumpkin Stencil

Two closed crescent eyes with four little lashes apiece rest above a small oval mouth, while round dots on each side form rosy cheeks for a sweetly sleeping face. Every crescent, lash, dot, and the mouth is pierced through, so the tiny lash cuts do the expressive work. Cut the two big crescents first, then add the short lash strokes with a fine saw, keeping each one clear of its neighbor.

The Sly Wink pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

The Sly Wink Pumpkin Stencil

One eye is a jaunty upswept crescent wink while the other stays a wide triangle, set over a small diamond nose and a lopsided grin broken into five rounded gaps by chunky teeth. The eyes, nose, and mouth gaps are cut through, leaving the tooth shapes as attached skin between them. A medium carver should cut the five mouth gaps individually rather than one big mouth, which keeps every tooth solidly connected and the crooked smile intact.

Scarred Sneer pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

Scarred Sneer Pumpkin Stencil

A menacing sneer built from two uneven glaring eyes, a small skull-like nose, a crooked mouth of jagged teeth, and three claw-slash marks raking each side of the face. All shapes pierce through, and the mismatched features do the intimidating. A medium carve; cut the six narrow slashes first with single confident strokes, then work the mouth teeth before opening the larger eye shapes.

Snaggletooth Sam pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

Snaggletooth Sam Pumpkin Stencil

A goofy winking jack-o'-lantern with one wide round eye, one squinting wink, a triangle nose, and an enormous grin broken up by a jumble of square and pointed teeth along both lips. Every feature is cut clean through so the mismatched expression beams from the whole face. At medium difficulty the mouth is the main event; cut the grin outline first, then shape each tooth individually, alternating sides so the lip strips stay supported.

Winking Wally pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

Winking Wally Pumpkin Stencil

One huge round eye stares while the other squeezes into a curled wink above a giant open grin packed with blocky square teeth, and freckle dots sprinkle each cheek. The eyes, mouth, and freckles all cut through the wall, with skin bridges left in place to form the teeth. Cut the mouth's outer outline first, then remove the gaps between teeth one at a time so each block stays anchored.

Gritted Grimace pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

Gritted Grimace Pumpkin Stencil

A grumpy jack-o'-lantern scowls with slanted, brow-slit eyes, a small triangle nose, angled cheek slashes, and a downturned mouth broken into square gaps. Every element is cut through, with the mouth's rind bridges creating the clenched, gritted-teeth effect. The thin brow and cheek slits earn the medium rating: make each slit with two close parallel cuts and pop the sliver out from inside the pumpkin, since pushing from outside can crack the narrow channel wider.

Cheery Cheeks pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

Cheery Cheeks Pumpkin Stencil

This delighted face beams with two big oval eyes, a small triangle nose, crescent-shaped cheek accents, and an open grin showing a pair of stubby teeth, all dusted with tiny freckle holes. Every shape is pierced through, with the teeth left attached to the upper lip. Cut the delicate crescent cheeks with the tip of your saw only, since their thin curves are the easiest pieces to crack.

Diamond Cheek Jack pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

Diamond Cheek Jack Pumpkin Stencil

This elevated take on the traditional face pairs slanted triangle eyes topped with thin brow slits, a triangle nose, and a deep zigzag grin, then adds three small diamond cutouts on each cheek for extra sparkle. Every element is pierced through the wall. The brow slits and little diamonds are what push it to medium; cut the big shapes first, then handle each diamond with a narrow saw, working point to point so they stay crisp.

Intermediate

Freckled Charmer Pumpkin Stencil

Big oval eyes sit under arched brows above a round button nose and a broad smile showing four blunt square teeth, with four freckle dots sprinkled on each cheek. The eyes, brows, nose, mouth, and dots are pierced through while the tooth bridges stay connected. Poke the eight small cheek dots first, then cut the large features, leaving the tooth bars until the end so they keep support.

This lovably lopsided face pairs one round eye with one droopy crescent eye, a triangle nose, and a huge crooked grin full of uneven square teeth, plus a pair of dot dimples on each cheek. The eyes, nose, mouth, and dots are pierced while the mismatched tooth bars stay attached. It suits odd-shaped pumpkins perfectly; cut the tooth gaps in random sizes and the wonkier it looks, the better.

Toothy Ted pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

Toothy Ted Pumpkin Stencil

A wide, low jack-o'-lantern face with sly almond-shaped eyes, a small triangle nose, and a long jagged mouth packed with alternating square teeth top and bottom. Everything is pierced through, and the horizontal layout suits squat, wide pumpkins. At medium difficulty the tooth row is the main work; cut the mouth's outer outline first, then remove the gaps between teeth one at a time so each block keeps support while you work.

The Cheeky Wink pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

The Cheeky Wink Pumpkin Stencil

A playful winking jack-o'-lantern: one big round open eye, one arched wink, a triangle nose, and a smiling mouth with blocky teeth, all framed by three thin whisker-like wedges slashed across each cheek. Every opening is cut through, and the six cheek wedges throw extra slivers of light. At medium difficulty, cut the large features first and finish with the skinny cheek slits, using a fine saw so each wedge tapers to a clean point.

Midnight Menace pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

Midnight Menace Pumpkin Stencil

A classic evil jack-o'-lantern with steeply slanted triangle eyes glaring downward and a wide jagged mouth of uneven fangs, some long and some short for extra menace. All shapes are pierced through for a fiery glow. Rated medium because of the zigzag mouth; cut each fang point with two clean strokes meeting at the tip, and bevel the eye edges outward so more light escapes upward.

Free PDF
The Sinister Snarl pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

The Sinister Snarl Pumpkin Stencil

Two sharply slanted triangle eyes glare above a wide jagged mouth lined with seven pointed fangs, giving this face a classic menacing snarl. Every element is cut fully through, and the zigzag mouth does most of the work, so accuracy there pays off. Cut each tooth as two separate straight strokes meeting at the point instead of dragging the saw around the corner, and the grin stays razor sharp.

Sinister Sneer pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

Sinister Sneer Pumpkin Stencil

Two arched, angry eyes glower above a huge crescent grin broken into a row of glowing tooth slots, with small slits flaring at each cheek. All the features are pierced through the wall, and the strips of rind left between the tooth openings become the dark teeth of the smile. Cut the mouth slots from the center outward and leave the narrow rind bridges at full thickness so the grin holds its shape.

Jagged Jaws pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

Jagged Jaws Pumpkin Stencil

A sharp-edged jack-o'-lantern face with slanted triangle eyes, an angular nose, and a wide jagged mouth broken into seven pointed teeth. Every shape is cut straight through the pumpkin wall, making a bright, high-contrast face that reads perfectly from the porch steps. It is a medium pattern because of the many small tooth points, so saw into each corner from both directions instead of twisting the blade to keep the tips sharp.

Freckled Grin pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

A classic jack-o'-lantern face with slanted triangle eyes topped by separate angled brow cuts, a diamond nose, and a wide grin broken by six blocky teeth, plus three small round holes dotting each cheek. Cheerful Chomper pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

Cheerful Chomper Pumpkin Stencil

This cheerful face pairs tall arched eyes, each with a round pupil left attached at the top, with a triangle nose and a huge grin broken by seven tooth slots. The eyes, nose, and mouth are pierced while the pupils and tooth bars remain as connected shell. The attached pupils are the trickiest part, so cut around each one carefully and leave a generous bridge so they stay anchored.

Bone Chomper pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

Bone Chomper Pumpkin Stencil

This clever skull face swaps ordinary teeth for a row of four upright dog-bone shapes beneath two big oval eyes and a small triangle nose. Eyes, nose, and each bone tooth are pierced fully through so the whole skeletal grin glows. The rounded bone ends are the trickiest part of this medium carve; drill or poke a starter hole in the center of each bone, then saw outward so the knobby tips keep their shape.

The Meltdown pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

The Meltdown Pumpkin Stencil

A wicked jack-o'-lantern with two swept, flame-like eyes, a small notched nose, and an enormous melting grin whose edges drip and ripple across the lower half of the pumpkin. All features are pierced through, and the wavy mouth throws dramatic, uneven light. This is medium work with one long tricky opening, so carve the mouth in sections from the center out and leave the drippy lower points attached until the very end for support.

Sawtooth Scowler pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

Sawtooth Scowler Pumpkin Stencil

A characterful jack-o'-lantern with heavy notched brows sitting over sly almond eyes, and a huge open mouth whose top edge is a row of jagged zigzag teeth above a broad curling lower lip. Goofy Gaze pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

Goofy Gaze Pumpkin Stencil

A goofy one-eyed jack-o'-lantern with a huge round eye topped by a dark pupil circle, a small triangle nose, and a wide smile broken by two chunky upper teeth. The big eye, nose, and mouth are cut through, while the pupil area keeps a disc of skin attached at the top for contrast. Support the teeth by cutting away from their narrow roots, since those two tabs carry the whole grin.

Nervous Nelly pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

Nervous Nelly Pumpkin Stencil

A hilariously worried pumpkin face with two big round eyes topped by drooping eyebrow arcs and a deep upside-down frown. Each feature is a pierced opening, and the round pupils stay attached as tabs inside the glowing eyes to give it that anxious stare. At medium difficulty the pupil bridges are the key detail; cut toward each tab rather than away so you do not snap them off.

Free PDF
Wide-Eyed Wally pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

Wide-Eyed Wally Pumpkin Stencil

A big-eyed, grinning jack-o'-lantern face with round pupil tabs left inside each eye and five square teeth breaking up a wide smile. The eyes and mouth are cut clean through while the pupils and teeth remain attached to the rind as solid bridges. Those round pupils make this a medium carve, so pierce a relief hole beside each one first and saw toward it rather than levering the blade, which can snap the connecting tab.

The Stitched Smile pumpkin stencil
Intermediate

The Stitched Smile Pumpkin Stencil

Two droopy teardrop eyes hang over a long curving smile crossed by short stitch marks, giving the face a sweetly sinister rag-doll look. The eyes and the full stitched mouth are pierced through, with each stitch cut as a small notch branching off the main smile line.
